Marvelous Monday Dinner Menu

This is one of my favorite quick meals.  The whole family loves the teriyaki and the jambalaya.  Hope you enjoy it!!!

Teriyaki Chicken- Ingredients: Chicken wings, 3 tbsp of the Pampered Chef Teriyaki sauce, 2 tbsp Sweet honey BBQ sauce, 1 tbsp honey, 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1 stick of butter)

Step One: Wash your chicken wings.  Then using a knife, cut the chicken wings in half (separating the wing from the leg).  After you cut all the wings in half, rinse the chicken again.  Next season your chicken (I used Pampered Chef Asian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper).  Set aside.

Step Two: In a saucepan (on medium heat), melt 1 stick of butter.  Next add teriyaki, BBQ sauce, honey, and brown sugar.  Using a whisk, mix all the ingredients very well for about five-seven minutes.  You want a pretty brown thick liquid to pour over your wings.

*I am using the Pampered Chef whisk, which is amazing.  It is sturdy, very heavy duty, and very affordable.

Step Three: Spray the rectangular Pampered Chef baker with cooking spray.  Add chicken to the greased baker.  Pour the sauce mixture all over the chicken.  Use a spoon and mix the chicken and the sauce (just making sure sauce is all over the chicken).  If you want to bake the chicken right away, go to step 4.  Otherwise, for maximum flavor, cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

Step Four: Make sure oven is preheated to 350 degrees.  Place chicken in the oven UNCOVERED for one hour (Make sure you check on it every 20 minutes-just stirring it/moving it around making sure the teriyaki sauce is all over the chicken).  After one hour take it out of the oven and let it stand for two-five minutes. SERVE!

Side Order:
Jambalaya- Ingredients: One medium onion, one medium bell pepper, 1lb of smoked sausage, oil, 2 1/2 cups of water and one box of Zatarains Jambalaya mix.

Step one: Heat about 2 tbsp of oil in a pot.  Using the Pampered Chef food chopper, chop your onion and bell pepper. Cook the onion and bell pepper until for about 5 minutes.  Then add your sausage.  Cook for about 5 minutes.

Step 2: Add 2 1/2 cups of water, 2 tbsp of vegetable oil, and the box of jambalaya mix to the pot and cook according to box instructions (usually 25 minutes) stirring occasionally.

Step Three: Remove from heat and let it stand for about 5-10 minutes.  SERVE!!!
